Legal Poker: In its two main forms—draw legal poker and stud legal poker—it can he played as a game with a central pool, or as a casino game played against the bank. Historically, legal poker developed from other games such as brag and its name probably derives from the German wordpochen (to bluff).
1 Closed legal poker, usually played in the form of draw legal poker. Players receive their cards face down. After a betting interval, they discard the cards they do not want, and receive replacements from the deck.
A second betting interval is followed by a showdown if more than one player is still active.
2 Open legal poker, known as stud legal poker. This is a faster game than draw legal poker and allows for more skill.
